Your sitter will have 48 hours to confirm, and you’ll receive an email as soon as they accept!

Membership Levels
Prices start at $49 per month and $28 per hour

Cherry Blossom Sitters is a monthly membership babysitter agency.
We offer three levels of membership; Petal, Bloom, and Blossom.
Sitter Pricing
Prices start at $49 per month and $28 per hour
Sitters are paid directly by members at the end of each scheduled sit or service. You may use whichever payment method works best for you—cash, check, or electronic payment.
The rates listed below reflect our minimum required hourly rate. We encourage you to offer a higher rate or add a tip if you are especially pleased with the care provided by our amazing childcare team.
Please note: Our sitters’ rates are based on childcare duties only. We kindly ask that you do not request tasks outside of childcare responsibilities.

Additional Sitter Fees
Group Sit (6+ Children) Sitter Hourly Rates $35/hr*
For sits with more than 5 children, you will need more than 1 sitter. Our maximum ratio is 5 children per 1 sitter. *Church group sits are $30/hr
Holiday Sitter Hourly Rates
1.5x hourly rate
NYE, New Years Day, Valentine's after 5pm, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day
Overtime Sitter Hourly Rates
1.5x hourly rate
Sitters rates becomes 1.5x if the sit is extended more than 30 minutes once the sit has started.
Mileage Reimbursement
$0.65/mi
Paid to your sitter if they transport your child(ren) in their own vehicle during your sit.
Overnight Sit Rates
$125 flat rate while children are sleeping + stated hourly rate while children are awake.
Sick Children Policy
We do not sit for sick children. If your child is showing any symptoms, please cancel any scheduled sits until they are better
Cancellation Fees
Cancellation Within 24-72 Hours Of Sit $30
Cancellation Within 1-24 Hours Of Sit $60
Cancellation Within 1 Hour Of Sit Full cost of sit
Sits canceled within 72 hours will be charged a cancellation fee to the members account and paid directly to the sitter.
Travel Fees
A $25 travel fee (paid directly to the sitter) applies to sits in the following DC-area locations:
Virginia
Leesburg, Purcellville, Middleburg, Haymarket, Bristow, Gainesville, Manassas, Dumfries, Warrenton, Stafford
Maryland
Bowie, Crofton, Annapolis, Laurel, Columbia, Ellicott City, Germantown, Frederick, Waldorf, Upper Marlboro
Travel areas are subject to change without notice.
Rush Fees
Sits requested with less than 24 hours’ notice are not guaranteed. If filled, a rush fee applies:
$30 for Monday – Wednesday sits
$50 for Thursday – Sunday sits
Paid directly to the sitter at the end of the sit.
